GIS/CAD Graphics Technician
Job Description
Fast-paced, detailed oriented Environmental Consulting firm looking for a mid-level GIS technician. The responsibilities will include data input, update, modification and providing basic analysis of GIS data. The applicant must have 2-4 years experience using ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MS office products with Access and Excel a must, Photoshop, Adobe, and knowledge of GPS equipment such as Garmin and Trimble. Knowledge of GISKey database is desired but not required. The applicant must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of these products and must be able to apply basic principles of geography, mapping, planning, and physical/computer sciences to the work required. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, maintaining GIS database sets, generate, modify and produce report figures for our business clients, and provide graphics support for the other associates working for the firm.
