Job Description
Brief Description of the Work Package:
Create Pro/E models and drawings to support new designs and updates of existing designs of sensor based instruments (mass spectrometers)
Update drawings as needed using Adobe Acrobat.
The EMU adapter plate attaches EMU Primary Life Support System (PLSS) to an alternate launch vehicle. The layout of the EMU adapter plate was jointly generated by Company and sub-contracted labor and will be use to create drawings for both the development and flight adapter plates. This SOW directs creation of the development hardware drawings and the flight drawings.
Scope of Work/Task:
· Interface with mechanical engineers and other mechanical designers on new design and changes
· Create Pro/E models and drawings in Pro/E Wildfire 3.0 per Company's procedures.
· Update drawings of existing or legacy designs using Adobe Acrobat
· Participate in design reviews
· Update Pro/E models and drawings based on changes from design reviews
· Create drawing release packages in Product Center per Company's procedures
· Candidate will conduct all work in accordance with ESM2315 and the Company's Design manual and Drafting manual including working with Adobe Acrobat documentations.
· Create solid models and drawings for development hardware. The models / drawings will be in ProE on Company format. The completed drawing package shall include:
o Detail and Assembly drawings for development hardware. There will be approximately 15 drawings (18 total drawing sheets x 15 hrs/sheet = 270 hrs).
· Create solid models and drawings for Flight hardware. The models / drawings will be in ProE on Company format. The completed drawing package shall include:
o Detail and Assembly drawings for development hardware. There will be approximately 23 drawings (27 total drawing sheets x 21 hrs/sheet = 567 hrs).
